Murfitt and Main in Evansburg, Alberta: Saturday November 26

Murfitt & Main are Vancouver, BC singer songwriters whose work is in the tradition of country, bluegrass, and western swing.

Long time members of the Western Canadian music scene, the two have performed in local and international music festivals including the Vancouver Folk Festival, Harmony Arts, Shady Grove Bluegrass Festival, Northwest Folklife Festival, Red Ants Pants Festival, as well as performing throughout Alberta and Manitoba with the Home Routes / Chemin Chez Nous.

Remaining faithful to the musical traditions they love, Murfitt and Main mix their vocal harmonies with good humour, and their joy of playing to draw listeners into their songs of heartbreak, honkytonk whiskey, debt and the land and life they see around them.
