T Nile in Cold Lake, AB: Sunday October 30
October 30, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm

“Staggeringly good” -Tom Power, CBC
“Some of my first memories are of falling asleep to the muffled sound of my mom and dad playing music together. Friends would come over, and instead of watching TV, we’d bust out the instruments and jam”
Today, T. Nile is a treasured award-winning songwriter, creative producer and multi-instrumentalist who can be found gracing the stages of some of the top festivals in the world. She expresses her roots in musical offerings from folk melodies and western guitars to bright banjo and renegade beats.
Tamara’s father, a child survivor of the holocaust, became known as “Dan The Man, The One Man Band”. A sidewalk entertainer, he followed in the footsteps of his early inspiration and mentor, the legendary Jesse Fuller who inspired Bob Dylan to pick up the harmonica. T. Nile’s mother, a francophone from Montreal taught her how to sing when she was just a toddler. From the age of six until her teenage years Nile accompanied Dan the Man as they toured the West Coast and Australia in a home-made RV.
Respected amongst her peers as an influential trailblazer, T. Nile’s fans have kept her on the road since 2006 in Western Europe, USA and Canada. She’s released three LPs, three EPs, multiple singles and is offering up “Coming Back From Everything EP” in Fall of 2022 followed by support shows with some music legends (TBA) in Canada and Europe. Somewhere in there she’ll take a break to complete “Wild Once LP” out in late 2023.
