Host

Are you a mover and shaker in your community? Do you like to discover new music? Do your friends like music? Do you have a wide and varied social network?  Do you like to get together with friends? Do you like to meet new people? Do you like to host musicians in your house? Does your home fit 25-40 people? If not, do you have access to a larger venue?

If the answer to these questions are yes, then you are very well positioned to become a successful Home Routes/Chemin Chez Host.

Build a network: Hosts in our network welcome 6 artists and their communities into their homes per season.  2 months in the fall (October & November), and 4 months in the spring ( February to May)

If 6 shows are too much, you can find one or two more partner hosts, and split the season among your community.

“Our first concert was very cool as it was attended by a young family. At the end of the concert the family presented their 7 year old son with a child sized fiddle for a most memorable birthday.  The guys (performers Joseph Decosimo & Luke Richardson of NC/TN) showed him how to rosin up his bow and got him started. It was super sweet.” – Eileen H., Fraser Lake, BC
