Winnipeg Crankie Festival

Home Routes, with the support of Crescent Arts Centre and Crescent Fort Rouge United Church, was thrilled to present the 3rd Annual Winnipeg Crankie Festival FREE, streaming online, over the weekend of Mar 5-7, 2021. Designed as an interactive and participatory online festival. we assembled an incomparable lineup, featuring local and international acts that allowed participants to personally engage with the music, art, workshops, and fellowship within our community. Thank you to all who watched with us and cheered us on!  We appreciate all of you!

"Congrats on making Winnipeg the Crankie Capital of Canada!"

Sue Truman

"We loved every minute of the time we were there. It was just wonderful... so much talent... Thank you so much again for inviting us. It was quite a privilege to be part of such a wonderful show."

Edward & Gillian Campbell

"It's hard to imagine how Crankie Fest could have been-or could be made to be-much better than it was, given the attributes and restrictions of the site and tireless energy of the organizers. I want to commend the organizers and the volunteers. There were a lot of moving pieces to this weekend event, confined to a relatively small space, and it seemed to all come off seamlessly.”
