June 2024 Tours

Home Routes/Chemin Chez Nous is thrilled to bring you three unforgettable purveyors of storytelling in song and traditional music. Dive deep into the rich history of the land we now call Manitoba and the enduring legacy of its first peoples.

Along with public concerts in Flin Flon, Cranberry Portage and The Pas the group will be  performing and facilitating workshops in several schools in Northern Manitoba communities.

Ted Longbottom – With storytelling in his blood, Ted brings the vibrant history of the Métis to life through powerful songs and tales of courage and adventure. Dubbed “Manitoba’s unofficial bard” and “a future Canadian legend,” Ted’s performances are not to be missed!

Daniel Koulack – A master of the Clawhammer Banjo, Daniel’s genre-defying compositions and collaborations span from Klezmer to Western Swing. His dynamic performances promise a musical journey like no other.

Ryan D’Aoust – Hailing from Norway House, Manitoba, Ryan is a celebrated recording artist and award-winning fiddler, renowned for his electrifying performances and numerous accolades.

Join Us in Collaboration With: The Flin Flon and Cranberry Portage Arts Councils, The Sam Waller Museum, The Frontier School Division, and supported by The Manitoba Arts Council.
