Burnstick
Burnstick is a JUNO-nominated folk duo built on heartfelt storytelling and unforgettable vocal harmonies, complemented by a century-old instrument. Based in Manitoba, husband-and-wife team Nadia and Jason Burnstick create deeply moving, cinematic folk music. Their sound is defined by their vocal blend and Jason’s expert use of the lap slide Weissenborn guitar. Over a decade in the making, Burnstick’s music stirs the soul. Five years after their nationally acclaimed debut album Kîyânaw, they return with Made of Sin, a powerful sophomore release that continues to inspire and connect with listeners on a profound level.
