Faddis & Adkins

faddis & adkins

The musical pedigrees of Dale Adkins and Jim Faddis speak for themselves. Dale Adkins emerged in the Pacific Northwest in the ‘80s and ‘90s as the guitar player of choice; performing with Grammy-nominee Kate MacKenzie, Out of the Blue, Dr. Corn’s Bluegrass Remedy, Frontline, True North, Old Growth Acoustic Quartet, Rock Ridge and Dan Crary, while Jim Faddis has been firing up the stages of Washington state with his band Prairie Flyer and, more recently, Farm Strong.

As Faddis & Adkins, their collaborative performance showcases the remarkable possibilities of two acoustic guitars and two voices. Adkins’ expertise in flat-picking guitar technique is finely tuned, and Faddis’ rhythmic guitar complements this partnership, guiding the audience seamlessly through a musical journey from classic country tunes to their own contemporary originals.
