orit shimoni
Orit Shimoni, a former teacher and academic, became a full-time travelling singer-songwriter in 2010. With just a guitar and suitcase, she has crisscrossed Canada and Europe, performing her heartfelt songs in venues ranging from bars and cafes to festivals, theatres, and living rooms. Known for her raw and tender voice, Orit’s folk, blues, and country-inspired music explores the complexities of the human condition. Since 2020, she’s navigated the pandemic’s impact on live music, continuing to release new material. With 12 albums to her name and international acclaim, Orit remains a dedicated advocate for art and the human spirit.
Fresh from a US tour with #1-selling Itunes artist Flamy Grant, Taylor is eager to keep performing, writing & releasing new music in 2024 and beyond.
