Canada’s Premier Folk & Roots Concert Touring Network Release their Full Lineup of Artists for 2023/24 Season

In October of 2023, Home Routes kicked off their first full season since 2019, announcing the initial 14 acts that would set the stage for an ambitious plan to send a total of 42 artists across 7 tour routes nationwide, performing  500+ shows. With that groundwork in place, and with those routes now reestablished, Home Routes is pleased to present that full list of artists that will be touring throughout their 2023/24 season.

The season kicked off in October with a stellar lineup of artists, including Bobby Dove, T. Nile, Saligaude, Alan Gerber, Mary Liv, Daniel Péloquin-Hopfner & James Culleton, and Mirja Klippel & Alex Jønsson, each bringing a wealth of talent to the stage, and delighting audiences with the uniquely intimate experience of a Home Routes house concert. Carrying on that momentum through November were Graham Lindsey, Sherman Downey, David Graham, West My Friend, Poor Nameless Boy, Old Man Luedecke, and Emerald Rae.

With 2024 nearly upon us, Home Routes is thrilled to announce the full lineup for the 2023/24 season: Dan Frechette & Laurel Thomsen, Sweet Alibi, Burnstick, Mimi O’Bonsawin & Noelle Frances, The North Sound, Anna & Regan Luth, J. Knutson, Faddis & Adkins, Rumour Mill, The Pairs, Mia Kelly, Pat Byrne, Lynne Hanson, Kitty & The Rooster, Kalyna Rakel & Dan Gurman, Sherry Ryan & Maria Cherwick, Jay Gilday, Raine Hamilton, Shari Ulrich, Suzie Vinnick, Andrina Turenne, Jack Garton, Naomi Shore, Taylor Abrahamse, Watermelon Slim, Crys Matthews and Beau Wheeler & Jesse Waldman. These artists—and one yet-to-be-announced performer—will be taking their respective shows on the road between January and May 2024, treating audiences to some of Canada’s finest folk music, performed in some very special and often unexpected venues.

Home Routes is dedicated to bringing exceptional live music experiences to communities nationwide, and the 2023-2024 season has done a lot to establish tour routes through those communities.

“It has been a lot of work bringing together the 2023-2024 Home Routes season, but I am thrilled by the outstanding performances we’ve witnessed so far. October and November saw a lot of musical talents setting the stage for an even more exhilarating journey from January to May,” says Home Routes Co-Executive and Artistic Director Leonard Podolak.

“This season’s upcoming lineup is a kaleidoscope of diverse artists, promising an unforgettable experience. I extend my gratitude to the artists, audiences, and our dedicated team for making each show a celebration of the magic that is live music. As we move forward into the remainder of the season, I invite everyone to join us for what are going to be some very excellent performances.”
